We had a decent stay, but the breakfast could definitely improve. it was overcooked and not fresh at all. Our bathtub looked fabulous in the photos, but it didn’t work. I may not return.

The overall experience was a little mixed. The sea view from the double room was stunning, and it's clear the location is perfect for beach access. the room itself was a bit outdated, and I was woken up early by noise from nearby guests. On another note, the breakfast quality left much to be desired, so I ended up filling up on toast instead. Nonetheless, the staff were friendly, which added a nice touch to the stay.

It was just a strong match for exploring town in Tenby with definitely value for money. The view from our room overlooking the beach was fantastic. Make sure to ask for a room with a sea view for great scenery.

I had a decent stay at the Royal Lion. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and local cafes. The views from my room were breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The room itself had a nice size, perfect for a couple's trip. the hotel felt quite dated. Some areas looked shabby, and the carpets had stains. The shower pressure was inconsistent, making it frustrating to use. The staff at reception were friendly, which made me feel welcomed, but the housekeeping needed improvement. My towels had stains, and the linens looked worn. Breakfast included some undercooked items, although the bacon was tasty. I appreciated the cozy bar atmosphere in the evenings. with better maintenance and cleanliness, this place could really shine.

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement
Enjoyed the stunning sea view from our family room, but the outdated decor left much to be desired. Helpful staff made check-in easy. If visiting, consider dining elsewhere for a more satisfying experience as the attached pub closes earlier than expected.

If you're on the hunt for some cracking local grub, you've got to check out Indie Burger right round the corner for a wicked burger fix! Plus, the staff at Thyme British Bar & Grill can whip you up a mean plate that'll leave your tastebuds dancing. Top that with your room being well-sized for a couple of days escape!
It's a real shame as that could turn a good stay into a pants one.

The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, and the staff were quite friendly during the stay. the room was in desperate need of updates with various issues like a broken shower thermostat and a rather confusing breakfast experience. All considered, it was a decent but flawed stay.

Great view, good vibes
Location was a winner for sure! The sea view from our family room was stunning, and it was super clean inside, even tho the outside looked a bit shabby. Breakfast was decent with a chill bar area, but the coffee could've been hotter. Just a heads-up, the lift wasn't working, which was a pain for our family moving bags.

The double room offered a lovely view of the beach and was clean and tidy. While hot water was readily available, the overall condition of the hotel seemed quite run down, particularly with scaffolding visible outside. The breakfast was nicely presented and the bed was comfortable, but access to our room was a challenge due to several flights of stairs.
